Q 2- Risks of laser Iridectomy in Narrow angle Glaucoma

Hi,
I don't know what to do. How do I know if I really need this procedure. The risks don't seem minimal to me.
Thanks

Thanks for your Question

You can't know if you need this laser surgery unless you visit your eye doctor. In narrow angle glaucoma, the anterior chamber is shallow and the intraocular pressure is high or there are signs which indicated previous episodes of high intraocular pressure. In order to prevent angle closure glaucoma, laser iridotomy is indicated.

The incidence of complications are low and most of them are transient or temporary.
