Q 1- Failed surgical Treatment for glaucoma
by Mrs. Patricia Mullen
I recently had Glaucoma surgery and Cataract in the left eye at the same time. The Glaucoma surgery failed as I have scar tissue and ropey blood vessels that covered the incision. The IOP in the left eye is 23 and I am sensitive to most eye drops so my Dr. took me off all of them and wants to see if I qualify for an experimental study that places a small gold shunt in the eye to reduce pressure.I am Leary about this as the Insurance does not pay for it and it has not been approved yet by the FDA. I just read your article about Mirtogenol and would like to know if it could help me and where can I get it? I have some nerve damage in my left eye but so far none in my right.Since I have been off the drops my vision is blurry .I hope you can help.
Thank you,
Pat Mullen
