There are two types of Optive eye drops. First one is called lubricant eye drops and the other is called sensitive preservative free lubricant eye drops.

Lubricant Eye Drops

Advanced dual action formula that lubricates and hydrates dry eyes, giving your eyes long-lasting moisturizing protection.

It comes in 15 ml and 30 ml multi-used bottle formulated with Purite.

Product Ingredients

- Active Ingredients: Carboxymethylcellulose Sodium (0.5%); Glycerin (0.9%).

- Inactive Ingredients: Boric Acid, Calcium Chloride Dihydrate, Erythritol, Levocarnitine, Magnesium Chloride Hexahydrate, Potassium Chloride, Purified Water, Sodium Borate Decahydrate, and Sodium Citrate Dihydrate.

- Preservative : Purite.

Indications

Long standing relief of dry eye symptoms in mild to moderate dry eye.

Action

- Hydrate the eye.

- Osmoprotection: protect the cornea from hyperosmoloar tears.

Sensitive preservative free lubricant eye drops

It is the same as lubricant eye drops but with preservative free. This is very important feature especially for people who need long term therapy for dry eyes because preservatives that present in most of eye drops can cause corneal toxicity with damages to corneal epithelial cells.

It comes in 30 single use containers each with 0.4 ml.

It can be use for mild to moderate dry eye and also it shows beneficial for dry eye after lasik.
