Selenium and Pseudoexfoliation Syndrome(PEX)



A new study on Pseudoexfoliation syndrome shows that patients with this syndrome have low level of Selenium in their Aqueous Humor, Conjunctiva and Serum comparing to normal patients. This trace element has antioxidants properties.
