Hi,

1) I work with the computer for up to 8 hrs a day.

2) Am also diabetic

3) I have glaucoma and recently diagnosed with astigmatism.

4) I have IOP readings of: 18 left eye and 22 right eye for a long time.

5) I use Betoptic eye drops of 0.5 ml once daily.

Question:

when reading from a computer, i see some words as "Blue" and others as "Brown/yellowish" at times though not constantly. What defect is this?

Thanks for your Question

Glaucoma affects optic nerve which causes impairment of color vision and this is called dyschromatopsia.

Betoptic eye drops should be used twice a day. Intraocular pressure of 22 on the right eye is above the normal range. The normal intraocular pressure is 10-20 mmHg.

Sometimes eye dryness can cause temporary impairment of color vision.
