Q 80- Diseases of myopia

Hi,

I am having myopia of -6.30 in left eye and -7.45 in right.

I am getting very scared because of regularly increasing myopia.

I want to reduce it.My age is 18 years.
Plz tell me what to do?

The thing that you have is called progressive myopic degeneration in which the myopia is regularly increasing with time. So far,there is no procedure or medication that can be used to stop this progression.

My advice to you is to have regular follow-ups with your eye doctor with dilated fundus examination.
