Q 50- Red, infected Eye

Dear Dr,
I'm from Iran.My collegue is the Canadian man had the eye problem . His eye is red the same as when the cut varid but he says it is infection . How i can help him ?, please answer me.

Red eye doesn't necessary mean an infected eye. There are many causes of red eye such as infection, allergic conjunctivitis,subconjunctival Hemorrhage, corneal wound, high intraocular pressure or Glaucoma, anterior uveitis and many other causes. The best way to treat his condition is to know the cause and to do such thing he should visit and eye doctor for complete eye examination.
