A 45- Response from Online Eye Info/Glasses or Contact lenses

by Online Eye Info

Thanks for your Question

Wearing glasses won't cure your refractive error, it only helps you to see better.
It is not mandatory to wear eyeglasses for the whole day. You have mild refractive error in which you have a good vision without eyeglasses but sometimes taking your glasses off for a long time can cause headache and eye ache. Some patients, even those with mild refractive error, feel uncomfortable without eyeglasses.

You can wear contact lenses instead of glasses if you are outside but you have to know that contact lenses need good hygiene.

Comment - DONT WEAR GLASSES ALL THE TIME.

I am not a doctor,on the contrary i am a patient.I advice YOU not to get used to wearing specs coz ur condition will deteriorate, just wear them when u really really need them.

I am talking from experience, some doctor deceived me when i was a little girl that if i wear specs all the time,my eyes will heal completely(they were to heal after 10 years) when i turned 18,thats when i came to the bitter realization that i couldn't see well without them. Now I am desperate to get back the sight i had 10 years ago but am not sure whether its possible.

so avoid glasses as much as u can.
