There are many causes of black spots in the white part of your eye. Most of them are benign such as Nevus, epithelial melanosis, congenital ocular melanocytosis and so on.
But some of them can be a malignant spots. Signs of malignancy are increase of size,invasion of the surrounding area such as cornea, color change, hyperemia and vascularity of the surface and formation of nodules on the surface.
I always gorge people with these black spots to have ocular examination to take images of these spots and to document the size, color, numbers, etc and have regular follow up to detect any changes
